ENGAGING YOUNG STUDENTS

Tyler Petko, Artist in Training

Tyler began his musical journey at age 11 when he learned the trombone and eventually guitar, drums, piano, and bass. In high school, Tyler taught drums and guitar to students aged 5 to 15 years of age.  He began playing professionally, hired by public venues and for private events.

Tyler is inspired by all genres of music with the influences of Robert Johnson and Glenn Schwartz at the forefront.  He is composing original music, and performs at senior centers, and festivals. He has shared the stage with some of Cleveland's most notable music legends including Marvin Braxton, and Glenn Schwartz (1940-2018).
